ASSEMBLY
Make sure that the appliance is switched off and unplugged from the mains socket.
1. Place the appliance base on a dry, level surface
with the control knob facing forward.
2. Place the bowl on the base, fitting the centre
opening of the bowl over the power shaft.
x Make sure the bowl handle aligns the unlock
symbol on the base.
3. Grasp the bowl handle and turn the bowl to the
left until it locks into position.
4. Insert the desired attachment into the bowl.
x If using the chopping blade, place it over the centre
pole of the bowl and allow it to fall freely to the
bottom of the bowl.
x If using the slicing/shredding disc, first place the disc stem over the power
shaft with large opening facing down, then place the slicing/shredding disc
over the disc stem.
a. If shredding, ensure that the raised shredding holes are on top;
b. If slicing, ensure that the raised slicing blade is on top.
5. Place the bowl cover on the bowl, making sure
the arrow on the bowl cover aligns the unlock
symbol on the bowl rim.
6. Grasp the feed tube and turn the cover to the left
until it locks into place.
7. Fit the food pusher into the feed tube.
8. Plug the appliance into the mains socket.
NOTE: Your food processor features a safety interlock system. The appliance will not
operate unless the bowl and bowl cover are properly aligned and locked into place.
OPERATION
WARNING: DO NOT OPERATE THE APPLIANCE WITHOUT BOWL COVER LOCKED.
Turning on and off the food processor
x To turn on the appliance, turn the control knob to the ON position. The appliance
will operate continuously and the indicator light will illuminate.
