18. See drawing 18a. Plug the Power Adapter (60)

into the receptacle inside the battery compart-

ment on the Console (5).

Note: To plug the Power Adapter (60) into an

outlet, see HOW TO PLUG IN THE POWER

ADAPTER on page 16.

See drawing 18b. The Console (5) can also be

operated with four D batteries (not included);

alkaline batteries are recommended. Do not use

old and new batteries together or alkaline, stan-

dard, and rechargeable batteries together.

Remove the screws, remove the battery cov-

ers from the back of the Console (5), and insert

batteries into the battery compartments. Make

sure to orient the batteries as shown by the

diagrams inside the battery compartments.

Then, reattach the battery covers.

19. Make sure that all parts of the elliptical are properly tightened. Note: Extra parts may be included. To

protect the floor or carpet from damage, place a mat under the elliptical.
