I t is necessary to connect a circuit breaker

which is compatible with the capacity of inverter

b etween 3ph AC power supply and power input

terminals (R , S , and T). The capacity of breaker

is 1.5 ~ 2 times to the rated current of inverter.

In order to cut off the input power effectively

when fault occurs to the system, it is necessary

to install a contactor at the input side to control

the ON-OFF of the main circuit power supply.

Input AC r eactor

In order to prevent the rectifier damage result

from the large current when peak pulse input, AC

re a ctor should be installed at the input side. I t

can also be used to improve the power factor of

the input side. F or the effective protection, it is

recommended to install input reactor for

inverters of 380V / 110kW (including 110kW) and

install input reactor for inverters of 220V / 45kW .
