STORAGE
To reduce the risk of injury, turn unit off and disconnect it from
power source before storing.
DO NOT spray water in or around the motor/gearbox assembly.
Protect this area from rain.
1. Clean the cement mixer after each use. See To Clean under Operation.
2. Wipe the ON/OFF switch and motor/gearbox assembly with a damp cloth. Keep
the electric motor cooling fins clean and free from debris build-up.
3. Lubricate pivot axle with light oil.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Type Problems Problem Resolution
Electrical Motor does not run
before loading concrete
Check power connection.
Connect if needed.
Ensure the ON/OFF switch
is in the ON (I) position.
Motor overload protector tripped.
See Motor overload protect
paragraph under Operation.
Motor does not run
with concrete loaded
Check power connection.
Connect if needed.
Ensure power connection
voltage is 110V – 120V.
Ensure the ON/OFF switch
is in the ON (I) position.
Motor overload protector tripped.
See Motor overload protect
paragraph under Operation.
Mixer shuts down
suddenly while mixing
Check power connection.
Connect if needed.
Motor overload protector tripped.
See Motor overload protect
paragraph under Operation.
Mechanical Drum does not turn
when motor is running
Ensure alignment pin is properly placed
in guide notch on drum. See Assembly.
Ensure T-handle bolt inside drum
is tight. Tighten if needed.
Irregular noise when drum
is spinning
Ensure T-handle bolt inside drum
is tight. Tighten if needed.
Remove the drum and clean
the gearbox drive shaft and
drum with soft clean cloth. See
Assembly to reassemble drum.
The drum suddenly drops
down during operation
Ensure T-handle bolt is not broken.
An extra T-handle bolt is included.
If T-handle bolt is broken:
Remove the drum and clean the
gearbox drive shaft and drum with
soft clean cloth. See Assembly to
reassemble drum with new T-handle bolt.
