Note
• As shown in the image below (example on the
left-hand side), you can set the Write-Control
Tab to prevent write operations to the SD
Memory Card. Push the tab up, as shown in
the example on the right-hand side, to release
the lock and enable writing to the SD Memory
Card.

LOSS OF DATA
• Be sure to back up the data saved in the SD Memory Card. Check if all the important data has been
backed up before formatting the SD Memory Card.
• Before removing the SD Memory Card from the Display Unit or PC, be sure to perform the prescribed
removal procedure. Forcibly removing the SD Memory Card without following this procedure may
cause damage to the internal data. For further details, read the Hardware Manual for your Display
Unit.
• While the SD Memory Card is being accessed, NEVER turn OFF or reset the Display Unit, or insert or
remove the SD Memory Card. Failure to follow this instruction may cause damage to the internal data.
• Before inserting the SD Memory Card, familiarize yourself with the SD Memory Card’s front and rear
face orientation, as well as the SD Memory Card connector’s position. If the SD Card is not positioned
correctly when inserted into the GP unit, the card's internal data and GP unit could become damaged.
• When using the SD Memory Card, be sure to follow the instructions given below to prevent damage to
the internal data or malfunction:
Failure to follow these instructions can result injury or equipment damage.
• DO NOT leave the SD Memory Card in a place
exposed to static electricity or electromagnetic
waves.
• DO NOT leave the SD Memory Card in a place
exposed to direct sunlight or near intense heat
sources such as heaters.
• DO NOT bend the SD Memory Card.
• Keep the SD Memory Card dry.
• DO NOT drop or give a strong shock to the SD
Memory Card.
• DO NOT touch the SD Memory Card
connectors.
• DO NOT disassemble or modify the SD
Memory Card.
• DO NOT place a label on the SD Memory Card.
