9. EXTERNAL MIC GAIN
Use a small flat head screwdriver to vary the external MIC gain (sensibility). Typically no adjustment is
required, but in case of bad intelligibility from the office side speaker try to increase or decrease the
external MIC gain.
10. POWER socket
Here’s where you plug in the external power supply. Use only the AC/DC adapter supplied with the
intercom system.
11. OUT socket
Connect the side external unit to this connector.
12. REC socket
This mini-jack output allows to connect an external recorder such as a PC or other equipment with
analog line level inputs.
13. VOL.2 level knob
This potentiometer set the level of the internal unit’s speaker. Use this to obtain a reasonable level of
the customer’s voice avoiding feedback squeals.
14. VOL.1 level knob
This potentiometer set the level of the external unit’s speaker. Use this to obtain a reasonable level of
the office staff’s voice avoiding feedback squeals.
15. EXTERNAL UNIT
Small base installed at customer side.
16. EXTERNAL SPEAKER
This speaker allows to hear the office staff.
17. EXTERNAL MIC
The customer addresses the office staff by speaking into this microphone.
18. EXTENSION CABLE
A 2mt. extension cable, supplied with the product, allows to connect the base to the external unit at a
longer distance.
19. AC/DC ADAPTER
Here is where you connect the power adapter. Use only the adapter included with the system.
20. CABLE TIE
Four cable ties are supplied to fix the cable.
21. ADHESIVE CABLE TIE MOUNT
Use it in conjunction of the cable ties.
22. DOUBLE SIDE ADHESIVE
Use this circular adhesive to fix the external unit at a surface.
INSTALLATION
1. To avoid feedback squeals the internal and external units must be positioned carefully.
2. At the customer side consider to reduce at minimum the distance (A) between the head of the customer
and the external unit.
3. At the office staff side consider to place the main base unit at the maximum distance (B) from the
external unit, and also from the glass openings and borders if the glass does not completely separate the
two environments.
