1. PRECAUZIONI D’USO AVVERTENZA:Per ridurre il rischio di folgorazione, non rimuovere il coperchio (o il pannello posteriore). All’interno non sono contenute parti riparabili dall’utente; affidare la riparazione a personale qualificato. ATTENZIONE: Per ridurre il rischio d’incendio o di folgorazione, non esporre questo apparecchio alla pioggia o all’umidità.
Uso sicuro della linea d’alimentazione: • Quando si scollega l’apparato alla rete tenere saldamente sia la spina che la presa. • Quando l’unità non viene utilizzata per un periodo prolungato, interrompere l’alimentazione estraendo la spina dalla presa dell’alimentazione • Per evitare danni alla linea d’alimentazione dell’apparato, non mettere in trazione il cavo d’alimentazione e non utilizzare un cavo attorcigliato.

DESCRIZIONE L’AMP240V4 è stato specificatamente progettato per la trasmissione di annunci microfonici e/o programmi musicali in tutti i sistemi P.A.

INGRESSO ALIMENTAZIONE DI RETE Collegare l’unità alla rete 230Vac 50/60Hz o 117Vac 50/60Hz Nota: per l’utilizzo alla tensione di riferimento è 117Vac 50/60Hz spostare il selettore di rete nella posizione 117Vdc 2. Per scegliere il tipo di sorgente da connettere agire sui selettori (fig.3 rif.a): LINE per sintonizzatori AM/FM, lettori CD ecc, MIC per microfoni dinamici PHANTOM per microfoni a condensatore. Attenzione a. Non collegare mai microfoni sbilanciati quando l’alimentazione PHANTOM è inserita, in quanto potrebbero danneggiarsi. b. Escludere l’alimentazione PHANTOM prima di inserire o disinserire i connettori microfonici. c.
E’ possibile ottenere un’ottimizzazione del segnale da amplificare interponendo tra i due terminali un’unità esterna (es. equalizzatore, processore ecc.). Per il collegamento riferirsi alla figura 9. MORSETTI ALIMENTAZIONE DC 24V I due morsetti permettono all’unità di essere alimentata in corrente continua attraverso una sorgente esterna es. generatore o batteria a 24V DC. Nel caso di utilizzo in corrente continua inserire nella linea d’alimentazione V DC un fusibile da 20A.
5. INSTALLAZIONE 1. Connessioni d’ingresso • CONNESSIONE MICROFONO/BASE MICROFONICA: Qualunque tipo di microfono volete impiegare, utilizzate sempre un cavo schermato. Riferendosi alla (fig.1 rif.4) Regolare opportunamente il livello dell’ingresso. Nel caso di microfoni che necessitino di alimentazione Phantom posizionare il selettore PHANTOM a ON.(fig.2 rif.4) • CONNESSIONE D’INGRESSO LINE (CD, TUNE, ecc) In caso di lunghe tratte utilizzare il cavo schermato. Riferendosi alla (fig.1 rif.
2. Connessioni d’uscita Attenzione Per prevenire il rischio di contatto con scariche elettriche non toccare mai le uscite dell’amplificatore quando esso è in funzione. • Connessione altoparlanti. Per accedere ai morsetti di connessione altoparlanti rimuovere il coperchio di protezione svitando le rispettive viti (fig.2 rif.10, rif.11). Il dispositivo può essere usato sia con altoparlanti a impedenza costante (4Ω) che a tensione costante (25V, 70V, 100V).
− Nel caso in cui si desideri realizzare delle linee separate (a zone), quindi escludibili indipendentemente l’una dall’altra, collegare i terminali rispettivamente al morsetto COM ed a quello contrassegnato dal numero di zona prescelto (fig.2 rif.11). − Quando si utilizza il selettore di zona, non è possibile utilizzare altoparlanti a impedenza costante in quanto la linea è predefinita con tensione a 100 V.

Led Level indicator - Vu meter It indicates the output signal level . For a correct amplifier volume use, the volume level must be set between –20 dB e 0 dB and when the first five leds are on.

To choose the source type to be connected, please use selectors (fig. 3 ref. a): LINE position for AM/FM tuners, CD players etc., MIC position for dynamic microphones PHANTOM position for condenser microphones. Attention d. Never connect unbalanced microphones when PHANTOM power is active, this power could be damaged. e. Turn off PHANTOM power before connecting or disconnecting the microphones connectors. f. Be sure that PHANTOM power is not active when you use microphones that don’t need external power.
It is possible to optimize the amplifier signal setting an external unit ( so as un equalizer processor, etc..) between the two terminals . For connections revert to the following fig. 9. 24 V DC POWER CONNECTORS These two connectors allow the unit to be powered by direct current through an external power source such as a generator or a 24 V DC battery. If you opt for direct current powering, please insert a 20A fuse in the V DC supply line.
5. INSTALLATION 1. Input connections • MICROPHONE/ MICROPHONE STANDS CONNECTIONS: use only shielded cable with any kind of microphone used. Revert to (fig.1 ref.4) set Input level. For microphone with Phantom power set PHANTOM switch on position ON (fig.2 ref.4). • LINE INPUT CONNECTIONS(CD, AM/FM TUNER, etc..) use shielded cable for long distance Revert to (fig.1 rif.4) set GAIN level and set PHANTOM switch on position ON (fig.2 ref.4).
2. Output connnections Attention To prevent the risk of electric shock, never touch amplifier outputs when the amplifier is turned on. • Speakers connections. To access to speaker connection terminals remove the protection cover unscrewing the correspondent screws (fig.2 ref. 5, ref. 6). This amplifier may be used both with constant impedance speakers (4Ω) and with constant voltage speakers (25V, 70, and 100V). Make proper connections applying following instructions.
− For discrete line installation (zone system), each zone is independent from the other, connect speakers terminals to COM and to the desired zone number (fig. 2 ref. 11). − If you’re using a zone selector, you won’t be able to use constant impedance speakers, since the line is set at 100 V constant voltage. − Speakers should have a transformer of the same voltage developed by the amplifier. − The speakers power sum should not exceed the amplifier maximum output power.
