Press and rotate the knob to choose the MODE option. Press and rotate again to choose one of
the available DSP preset, each of them carefully optimized for a specific use of the DIVA
speaker. The graph below shows the equalization applied to the speaker.
The MUSIC mode enhances low and high frequencies while slightly
cutting mid-high tones, and it is
used for most music playback
applications.
The LIVE mode provides a linear response for the whole audio
range and it is optimized
for live vocal and instrumental
applications.
The DJ mode boosts low and high frequencies typical of recorded
electronic and dance music, while reducing mid-high harshness
that can occur at high levels.
The MONITOR mode has been optimized for the use of the speaker
as a stage monitor. It features a low-frequency roll-off and carefully
selected EQ cuts able to ensure the maximum gain before feedback.
The SPEECH mode includes a significant low-cut filter to avoid
feedback and rumble and several enhancements of mid-high
frequencies in the vocal range, to maximize the voice intelligibility
in speech applications. To be used when a dynamic microphone is
connected directly to the speaker’s input.
