Die Hard engineers have designed a complete line of component

interconnecting solutions. The line includes, insert, “Y”, adapter,

extension, as well as instrument cables. These Die Hard cables are

constructed with the purest OFHC copper, all gold plated connectors, and

complete coverage shielding. These elements are encased in tough but

exible PVC jacket material.

Normally, the mechanical stability of this type of connector is entrusted to the

outer sleeve, while the central pin is inserted into the ring contact inside the female

connector. With time and use, the internal ring of the female and external sleeve of

the male expand, heavily compromising the stability of the electrical connection,

causing false or intermittent contact. In the Die Hard RCA connectors, however,

the external sleeve of the male connector has a truncated conical form that

clutches onto the external contact of the female. Additionally, the central pin is

constructed with a leaf-spring style tab that exerts continuous pressure against the

internal ring contact of the female. This guarantees constant, reliable contact

and signal transmission.
