With the slider Pan Shot Smoothing you balance the total movements in the video. If you move

the slider further to the right, Mercalli increases the stabilization, the video appears quieter. The

slider Pan Shot Smoothing causes the greatest visual change (smoothing of the movements in

the video). Changes in the correction curve are also visible in the shift diagram.

Roll - Balance

The slider Roll - Balance effects a correction of the video regarding the movements (rotation)

around the Z Axis. Changes in the correction curve are also visible in the Roll diagram.

The slider Roll - Balance can also be deactivated, but only if the slider Zoom - Balance has

already been deactivated. Simply click on the checkmark on the Settings tab. Then, there will be

no correction of the Roll movement (Z Axis) in the video.

The slider Roll - Balance will be deactivated if rolling movements cannot be evaluated by Mercalli,

or if only pans are to be stabilized.

Border Handling

Mercalli offers various Border Options.

Balancing the Movements creates calculation-related borders.

So, if you move the image 10 pixels to the left to compensate or balance an originally caused blur
