If Your Kettle Boils Dry
The Kettle element is protected by an automatic safety
device. If the Kettle is accidentally switched on without
water, or is allowed to boil dry, the Kettle will automatically
repeat a cycle of switching off, cooling down, and switching
back on. If this happens, you should:
1 Unplug the Kettle.
2 Wait about 20 minutes for the element to cool down and
then use as normal and check that the Kettle functions
correctly.
