CHOOSING YOUR SCREEN
Four steps to make the right choice!
STEP 1
CHOOSING THE SCREEN TYPE
As the final support for your message, and to give your presentation the best quality, the screen is an
essential link in the projection chain. For this reason, the screen quality should be selected with care.
Screen quality depends on several criteria linked to the environment and the type of projection system:

Ambient Light: dark or more or less lit
Projection distance
Angle: layout of the room – viewing angle
Lens or zoom used
The information below will help you analyze your needs and provide you with the tools for choosing the best
projection screen for your application.
There are 5 types of projection screen covering a wide variety of needs:
Today, most projection is made in video format (4:3 ratio) for use in TV/Home Cinema, or wide screen (HDTV)
format (16:9 ratio) for Home Cinema use in particular. Of course, PROCOLOR also offers square format (1:1 ratio).
