How Do I Synchronize External Surround Sound

Audio with Video?

Audio from the 3G/HD/SD-SDI inputs can be delayed so that all of its

destinations, including outputs will receive the delay. The SDI input

channels can be delayed up to 160 ms, adjustable in 1 ms increments.

Note that if you are using both the SDI input delay and the monitor

mixer delay, the effect to the internal speakers is additive for a total of

up to 330 ms.

SDI input Audio Delay is enabled and adjusted in the 3G SDI I/O

Card Configuration Menu

. Before proceeding to this menu, adjust

the Main Screen controls so that you are viewing the video and

hearing the associated audio on your surround sound system. Then

proceed to the 3G SDI Input Configuration Menu:

Note:

The Audio Delay you set also applies to the AES outputs on

the 3G/HD/SD-SDI I/O card, but does not apply to the

reclocked output
