Chapter 2 Installation

Rear Panel Connectors

• Power: The AMP2-16V Series monitors use a standard IEC power

cord for the 100 to 240 VAC power connection. A redundant power

supply is optional. (Refer to Option Kits on page 154 for a complete

list).

• Ethernet: The Ethernet port is used for system software upgrades.

• Serial: This DB-9F connector is used for system software upgrades.

• Genlock Ref Input and Pass-Through (Ref):These BNC

connectors are designed to be used in a daisy-chained series

arrangement from unit to unit. A 75 BNC terminator (not

supplied) must be installed in the open

Ref connector of the last

unit in the chain. These inputs accept composite video sync sources.
