3G/HD/SD-SDI Card

Outputs

The eight AES output pairs on this card are de-embedded and re-

clocked from the 3G/HD/SD-SDI signal. No other signals can be

routed to these particular outputs. Pairs 1 through 4 are output through

the top DB-9 connector and Pairs 5 through 8 are output through the

bottom DB-9 connector. The de-embedded pairs that you select in the

Monitor Mixer Menu are the same ones that display on the level

meters and are audible through the internal speakers.

Connector Pin Outs

The pin out of the unbalanced AES output connectors on the 3G/HD/

SD-SDI rear panel adaptor is listed in Table 6–4 below.

Note:

The AES outputs are delayed by the Audio Delay setting in

the 3G SDI I/O Configuration Menu.

The delay setting in the Monitor Mixer Configuration

has no effect on any of these outputs.

Note:

The unbalanced AES output pin-out is the same as a

commercially-available VGA to BNC cable.
