WHAT IS MOLD?
Mold are types of fungi that reproduce by releasing millions of microscopic spores that oat in the air
you breathe both indoors and outdoors. Mold will grow indoors when mold spores land on surfaces
that are wet. Mold spores can spread by vacuuming, walking on carpets, sitting on a couch, opening
and closing doors and even by your heating and air conditioning system. Visible mold growth can look
many colors, white, orange, green, brown and even black. When checking for mold, look for signs of
water damage (wet spots, staining), this may indicate an area of future mold growth.
