Revised instructions
Because there are multiple layers in Asbestos there will be a $40 charge
per layer. IF the material being tested has multiple layers. The
packaging clearly states that the cost to analyze is $40 per layer and we
actually give the customer examples of different types of testing (see
packaging attachment) and the added cost if its 1 or 2 layers. For
instance, if you wanted to have your floor tiles tested that would be 2
layers (one for the porcelain and one for the glue).
The customer will fill out the form and tell the lab what material is
being tested and check the box prior to being charged.
