DC Power Supply Wiring Diagram
1 Use an external, slow-blow, 2 A type T fuse.
Power Interruption
The Voltage Drop is variable depending upo
n the load to the power supply of the
controller, but generally a minimum of 10 ms is maintained as specified by IEC
standards.
LT enters p
ower-down status when a momentary power in
terruption of the rated
voltage continues for 10 ms or longer. When the LT enters power-down status, it
stops all calculations, even if there are instructions that are not completed.
For example, when the LT enters powe
r-d
own status while 100 words of data are
being transferred by a FMOV instruction, the transfer stops midway. Consequently,
design your program with consideration to power-down occurrences.
DANGER
FIRE HAZARD
Use only the recommended wire sizes for I/O channels a
nd power supplies.
Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious injury.
WARNING
UNINTENDED EQUIPMENT OPERATION
Do not exceed any of the rated
values specified in the following tables.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury, or
equ
ipment damage.
WARNING
UNINTENDED EQUIPMENT OPERATION
z Individually monitor each source of power used in the LT system including input
power supplies, output power supplies, and the power supply to the controller
to allow appropriate system shutdown during power system interruptions.
z The inputs monitoring each of the power supply sources must be unfiltered
inputs.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury, or
equ
ipment damage.
