External Interfaces
• For instructions on how to connect to other devices, always refer to the “GP-Pro EX
Device/PLC Connection Manual”.
• Always connect the #5 SG (Signal Ground) of the LT unit to the connected device,
especially if the connected device is also not isolated. Failure to do so may damage
the RS232C/RS422/RS485 circuit.
• When isolation is necessary, you can use the RS232C isolation unit (CA3-ISO232-01) on
COM1.
