Stopping the Engine
Anytimeyouwanttostoptheengine,especiallyifthere
isaproblemwiththeengine,stoptheenginebypressing
theKILLswitch.
CAUTION:Donottouchtheengineandmuffler.
Theybecomeextremelyhotduringoperationand
cancauseinjuryorfire.
Boating Tips
Avoidboatingnearotherwatercraft,stationaryobjects,
waves,wakesandotherrapidlymovingwater,wildlife,
floatingdebrisoroverhangingtrees.Youshouldalsobe
carefultoavoidboatinginareaswheretherearemany
people,suchasswimmingareas,parkwaterwaysor
fishingareas.Consultlocallawsandordinancesbefore
choosingalocationtopilotyourboat.
Maximumspeedsareonlyachievedwhenthewater
conditionsaresmoothandthereislittlewind.Asharp
turn,windorwavescanturnoveraboatwhenitis
movingquickly.Alwayspilotyourboatforthewindand
waterconditionssothattheboatdoesnotturnover.
Whenrunningyourboatforthefirsttime,we
recommendcalmwindandwaterconditionssothatyou
canlearnhowtheboatrespondstoyourcontrol.
Whenmakingturns,decreasethethrottletoreducethe
probabilityofflippingtheboatover.
Neveroperateyourboatinlessthan12inches(30.5cm)
ofwater.
Ifyouneedtoretrieveyourboatfromthewater,use
fishingequipmentoranotherboat.
NOTICE: Whenrunningatfullspeedinchoppywaters,
thepropmayexitandre-enterthewaterrepeatedlyand
veryquickly,subjectingthepropellerandflexshaftto
somestress.Frequentstressmaydamagethepropeller
andflexshaft.
CAUTION: Neveroperateyourboatinextreme
temperaturesorturbulentwater.
CAUTION: Neverattempttoretrieveadowned
boatbyswimming.
When You Are Finished
1. Poweroffthereceiver.
2. Poweroffthetransmitter.
3. Disconnectandremovethebatteryfromtheboat.
CAUTION: Neverpoweroffthetransmitteror
receiverbeforestoppingtheengine.Youwilllose
controlofyourvehicle.
Tip:Alwaysremovethecanopybeforestorageor
moisturemayallowmoldandmildewtogrowintheboat.
