Printronix Online Data Validation (ODV
™
)
Bar code labels are a vital link in your production cycle — and to
your business success. Bad bar codes reduce efficiency, resulting in
delayed response to market needs, non-compliance fines and lagging
production lines.
Online Data Validation analyzes each bar code to ensure it meets
stringent scanning standards. This 100-percent inspection, commenced
immediately after the label is printed, validates the symbology
specifications of both linear and PDF417 bar code images. Bad bar
code labels are cancelled and good replacement labels are printed
automatically.
ODV Data Manager, when combined with PrintNet Enterprise, is the
Printronix solution for fully automated bar code quality control. ODV
Data Manager:
• Captures and displays all bar code
quality data, by label and bar code
• Captures and displays detailed
validation information and actual
data within each bar code
• Views all data online and stores in a
