RIBBONS/MEDIA COMPATIBILITY CHART

Thermal Transfer Technology : applies heat to a ribbon and the image or barcode is then transferred to labels or tags. Compared

to the Direct Thermal technology, the Thermal Transfer Technology produces a higher quality, longer lasting image on the tag or

label.

For the best image quality and durability, it is important that the ribbon type and media are compatible. The following chart

illustrates the combinations of Printronix ribbons and media that will produce the best results.
