This design concept consists of a 2 part control system. A "relay" PCBA manages AC power switching and a display/control PCBA for control logic and display functions. The relay PCBA is located in the cart power module interconnected compartment where equipment and cabling can connect directly. The display/control PCBA is located in the top front left corner of the cart where it is visible to the user. It is linked to the relay PCBA with a 7 ft. Cat 5 network cable. The micro-controller senses DC voltage separately for charge and discharge cycles and displays a relative battery state of charge on the 6 segment LED bar display.
