Maintenance
and cleaning
Before cleaning, make sure that the
appliance is not connected to the
power supply and that it has cooled
down.
Never use corrosive or scouring
cleaning agents or sharp objects
(such as knives or hard brushes) to
clean the appliance.
Never immerse the appliance in water.
Never put the appliance in a
dishwasher.
Make sure that the interior of the
appliance does not become damp.
Cleaning the appliance
1 Remove the plug from the wall socket.
2 Clean the interior and exterior of the
appliance only with a damp cloth.
3 Dry the appliance thoroughly.
Cleaning the vacuum sleeve
See Figure 4.
1 Open the appliances lid.
2 Pull the locking slide on the side of the
appliance outwards.
3 Keep hold of the locking slide and lift up
the left-hand side of the vacuum sleeve.
4 Take the entire tube out of the
appliance.
5 Wash the vacuum sleeve under the tap,
or in a dishwasher. Dry it thoroughly.
6 Return the vacuum sleeve by fitting the
right-hand side in the appliance and
then gently pressing down on the
sleeve until it clicks into place.
