The wireless speed is slower than normal.
• The device may be in Battery Life mode. in this mode, the performance is reduced to extend the
battery life.
• The charge on the battery may be too low.
• There may be interference in the drive’s Wi-Fi channel or Wi-Fi bandwidth as the drive operates
within the 2.4 Ghz band. Interference may come from Wi-Fi devices, microwaves, or other wireless
appliances. Advanced users may want to set a different channel on the Settings screen.
• You may be using clients or networks without a Wireless-N MIMO connection or a slower wireless
network (e.g 802.11g or 802.11b).
I can’t power on my drive.
Make sure the battery is charged. If left unused a long time, the battery may be too low and require
charging before it can be powered on.

Drive Format
Can I reformat this drive to another file system
Yes. The My Passport Wireless Pro device can be formatted to NTFS, FAT32, and HFS+. The My
Passport Wireless Pro device can be formatted to exFAT, NTFS, FAT32, and HFS+.
My drive cannot be detected by another device when connected via
USB port.
My Passport Wireless Pro is preformatted as an exFAT file system. Some devices (such as computers
running Windows XP or WD TV media player) may not support this file system. For more information
