Improving Battery Life or Performance
The Hardware screen allows you to extend the life of the battery or improve the performance of the
drive.
1.
To display the Hardware page, click Hardware on the navigation bar.
2.
In the Battery section, Optimization field, select one of the following battery options:
•
Performance: Select this option if you'd like to optimize your media
processing.
•
Battery Life: Select this option to extend the life of the battery.
There is no difference between the two options if your My Passport Wireless Pro
drive is plugged into an outlet and running on AC Power.
