Activity/Wi-Fi LED

The Activity/Wireless LED is off when you take the My Passport Wireless drive out of the

box.

View Battery Status When Drive is Off?

Reset Your Drive

You can reset your drive two ways: manually and on the dashboard’s Admin page (see....)

1. To reset your drive, hold down the Power and Wi-Fi buttons at the same time for

around 15 seconds until the drive reboots and the power LED flashes white.

Off Connecting wireless during boot-up

Solid blue Wireless network connected or active (all modes)

Solid orange Wireless network connected to access point (AP)

but no Internet connection (shared connection

Solid red Wireless network failed or no network connection

Blinks blue for a set period (1 minute) WPS initiated and in progress

Blinks white Device in use, for example:

• File transfer in DAS mode

• SD card copy/transfer

• Firmware update

•Reset

No change in color or behavior File transfer in NAS mode

Solid white Drive not in use in DAS mode

LED pulsating white Drive going into sleep mode in DAS mode

Blinking red with Power LED and Wi-Fi
