Use with an SD Card
You can transfer photos and other media files from an SD Card to your My Passport
Wireless drive and then share them with devices and users connected to the drive wirelessly.

Transfer Content from an SD Card
1. Insert the SD card containing your media files into the drive’s USB port.

3. Click Media in the Navigation bar to display the Media page:
4. You have the following options:
Note: When you copy the files, they remain on the SD card. When you move the
files, they do not remain on the SD card.
To copy your files from the SD card immediately, for Import Mode, click Copy and
then Copy Now.
To automatically copy new files as soon as you insert the card, for Import Mode,
click Copy and turn the Automatic Import switch to On.
To move your files from the SD card immediately, for Import Mode, click Move and
then Move Now.
To automatically move new files as soon as you insert the card, for Import Mode,
click Move and turn the Automatic Import switch to On.
View Content from an SD Card
1. On your computer, open the File Explorer (PC) window Finder (Mac).
2. Do one of the following:
For a Windows PC, in the left pane of the File Explorer window (true for Win8?), click
Network > MYPASSPORT > double-click Public > SD Card Imports.
