POSITIONING/ELEVATING WEDGES
Foam positioning wedges promote proper hip–spinal alignment and reduce sacral pressure
while patient is lying down. Elevating bed wedges resist slipping and sliding while
comfortably elevating patient’s head or feet more effectively than pillows or rolled towels.

ALPHA PRO TECH BED WEDGE
Helps prevent patient/resident from rolling off the bed when one bed rail is in the
lowered position. The pair system may be used when it is desirable to have both bed
rails lowered. Straps attach to the bed spring frame to secure the wedge in position.
Durable foam with vinyl cover, wedge may be cleaned with a spray-type cleaner and
a damp cloth. CAUTION: Do not use in place of bed rails.

PROFEX BUMPER WEDGE
Non-conductive, wedge-shaped bumper pads attach to side or end bed rails to help
prevent patient injury. Easy to install, remove, and store. Style 1 attaches to tubular
rails by means of velcro straps while Style 2 slips over either solid or tubular rails in
envelope fashion. For non-adjusting beds. Height dimensions are measured from the
top of the mattress to the top of the bed rail plus 4 inches. (A + 4"). When ordering
Style 2, please specify rail thickness measurement. Wedges are available in light green,
tan, yellow, or white. Packaging: 2/package.
