11. Toxicological Information
POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS:
ACUTE HAZARDS:
INHALATION: At elevated temperatures or in enclosed spaces, product mist or vapors may irritate the mucous membranes of
the nose, the throat, bronchi, and lungs; based on data from similar products.
SKIN CONTACT: Prolonged contact may cause mild irritation. High pressure injection of this product through the skin may
cause possible extensive tissue damage resulting in loss of a finger, hand or arm. There may be no sign of initial injury or
pain.
EYE CONTACT: Direct eye contact may result in mild transient irritation with redness, tearing, stinging and swelling.
INGESTION: Ingestion of this product is not expected to result in any acute systemic toxic effects. If more than several
mouthfuls are swallowed, abdominal discomfort, headache, drowsiness, belching, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea may occur. If
swallowed, aspiration into the lungs during ingestion or vomiting may result in lipid pneumonitis.
CHRONIC HAZARDS: Prolonged or repeated skin contact may remove skin oil, leading to possible skin irritation or
dermatitis. In extreme, prolonged exposures to mists, or vapors in poorly ventilated may result in lipid pneumonitis.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE: Prolonged or repeated skin contact may aggravate an existing
skin condition such as acne, seborrhea or dermatitis. Repeated long term contact may aggravate liver, and central nervous

Inherently biodegradable in aerobic conditions. Partition Coefficient (log Kow): >6 (based on similar materials)
Analysis for ecological effects has not been conducted on this product. However, if spilled, this product and any contaminated
soil or water may be harmful to human, animal, and aquatic life. Also, the coating action associated with petroleum products
can be harmful or fatal to aquatic life and water fowl.
