9. Settings

Control and customize your device settings on the Settings screen.

To open the Settings screen, simply tap the Settings icon on the Home screen.

You can scroll on the screen upwards/downwards to check the rest setting items.

9.1 Wireless & networks

Configure your device’s wireless connections, e.g., Wi-Fi, Virtual Private Networks, or set the options for

Portable hotspot.

To turn on/off 3G module, simply slide your finger rightward/leftward on the control bar. You can use

your 3G (WCDMA) SIM card to surf the Internet out of doors.

Before using 3G modules, please do as following steps:

1. Make sure you have a 3G (WCDMA) SIM card, and it has been charged for 3G

Mobile data service.

2. Plug your 3G (WCDMA) SIM card into product’s SIM card slot

3. Turn on 3G function in Settings>3G

4. Turn on mobile data service in Settings>Data Usage>Mobile data

5. You can set mobile data limit and check your data usage cycle in Settings>Data Usage>Set Mobile Data

Note: 3G signal strength may be unstable in some unique indoor environment or suburban district.
