Wireless & networks
Use Wireless & Network settings to configure and manage connections to networks and devices via Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth and mobile networks. You also use Wireless & Network settings to configure connections
between your phone and virtual private networks (VPNs), to connect your computer to the Internet using
your phone’s mobile data connection and to turn off all radios with Airplane mode.
Check to turn off all the phone’s radios that transmit voice or data.
When checked, also disables the Call settings.
Check to turn on WLAN so you can connect to WLAN networks.
Check to turn on Bluetooth so you can connect to Bluetooth devices.

Wi-Fi settings screen
For details how to work with these settings, see “Connecting to Wi-Fi networks”.
Check to turn on WLAN so you can connect to WLAN networks. When you
connect to a network, displays the network’s name.
Check to receive a notification when an open Wi-Fi network becomes
available.
Opens a dialog where you can add a WLAN network by entering its SSID (the
name it broadcasts) and security type.
WLAN networks
Displays a list of Wi-Fi networks you’ve previously configured and those
detected when the phone last scanned for WLAN networks. See “Connecting
to Wi-Fi networks”.
Scan for available WLAN networks. In addition to the settings described in this
section, you can press Menu on this screen and touch Advanced. See
Advanced screen below.
