2.1 COLOR (Displayfarbe)

Die Farbe des Displays kann wie folgt eingestellt werden:

1) F - FREQUENCY BAND SELECTION (F key)

(Conﬁguration: EU; PL; d; EC; U; In)

The frequency bands have to be chosen according to the country

of use. Don’t use any other conﬁguration. Some countries need a

user’s licence. See table page 59.

1. Turn on the power while pressing the F key (5). The letter corre-

sponding to the current conﬁguration is blinking.

2. In order to change the conﬁguration, use the s/t keys (3) on the

unit or the UP/DN key (3) on the microphone.

3. When the conﬁguration is selected, press the F key (5) 1 second.

The letter corresponding to the conﬁguration is continuously dis-

played and a conﬁrmation beep sounds.

4. At this point, conﬁrm the selection by switching off the transceiver

and then switching it on again.

2) MENU MODE (AM/FM key)

1. Turn on the radio while pressing the AM/FM key (7) to enter into

the MENU mode.

The order of the 6 menus is the one described in this manual.

However, the menu displayed when entering the MENU mode

will be the last menu edited by the user.

Whatever the menu, the procedure is the same:

2. Use s/t (3) on the unit or UP/DN (3) on the microphone to select

the menu to be set.

3. Press the F (5) key to conﬁrm the chosen menu. The parameter of

the menu blinks in the display.

4. Use s/t (3) on the unit or UP/DN (3) on the microphone to select

the parameter value.

5. Press again the F (5) key to conﬁrm the value of the chosen

parameter. The parameter stops blinking and, if the function has

more than one parameter, then the next parameter blinks. Start

again at point 2 to set another menu or...

6. Press the PTT switch (11) to conﬁrm the last setting and exit the

MENU mode.

7. If no key is pressed, the unit exits the MENU mode after 10 seconds.

D) MENU

1) COLOR

1. Enter into the MENU mode (see § MENU MODE, point 1)

2. Use s/t (3) on the unit or UP/DN (3) on the microphone to select

the COLOR menu.

3. Press the F (5) key to conﬁrm. The actual color symbol blinks in

the display,

(red), (green), (blue), (cyan), (yellow),

(purple), (cyan light).

4. Use s/t (3) on the unit or UP/DN (3) on the microphone to change

the color.

5. Once the color choice is made, press the F (5) key again to conﬁrm.

Start again at point 2 to set another menu or...

6. Press the PTT switch (11) to validate and exit the MENU mode.

7. If no key is pressed, the unit exits the MENU mode after 10 seconds.

Default color is

(red).

2) KEY BEEP

Some operations such as changing channels, pressure on keys etc.

are conﬁrmed by a beep tone. This function can be activated or

deactivated as follows:

1. Enter into the MENU mode (see § MENU MODE, point 1)

2. Use s/t (3) on the unit or UP/DN (3) on the microphone to select

the KEY-BP menu.

3. Press the F (5) key to conﬁrm. The actual value blinks.

4. Use s/t (3) on the unit or UP/DN (3) on the microphone to change

the value of the KEY BEEP, On (default)/Of.

5. Press again the F (5) key to conﬁrm. Start again at point 2 to set

another menu or...

6. Press the PTT switch (11) to conﬁrm and exit the MENU mode.

7. If no key is pressed, the unit exits the MENU mode after 10 seconds.

„PU“ (magenta) / „CL“ (helles cyan)

Werkseinstellung: „rE“ (rot)

a) Gerät mit [ON-OFF/VOLUME] (1) ausschalten. Drücken und halten Sie Taste

[AM/FM/

] (7) und schalten Sie das Gerät mit [ON-OFF/VOLUME] (1) wieder ein.

b) Im Display (4a) erscheint

und das zuletzt aufgerufene Untermenü wird ange-

zeigt.

c) Die Auswahl des Untermenüs „COLOR“ erfolgt mit Tasten [▲/▼] (3) am

PTT-Handmikrofon oder [oben/unten] (4b) am [DISPLAY] (4a).

d) Betätigen Sie Taste [F] (5) zum Bestätigen der Auswahl. Der aktuell gewählte Wert

des Untermenüs blinkt.

e) Auswahl des gewünschten Wertes mit Tasten [▲/▼] (3) am PTT-Handmikrofon

oder [oben/unten] (4b) am [DISPLAY] (4a).

f) Drücken Sie Taste [PTT] (11), um die Einstellung zu bestätigen und das Benutzer-

menü zu verlassen.

verschwindet

g) Erfolgt innerhalb von 10s keine Einstellung, wird das Benutzermenü verlassen.

2.2 KEY-BP (Quittungston)

Einige Bedienvorgänge, wie z. B. das Wechseln von Kanälen, Tastenbetätigung usw.,

können mit Quittungstton akustisch bestätigt werden. Dieser Quittungstton kann wie

folgt aktiviert oder deaktiviert werden:

a) Gerät mit [ON-OFF/VOLUME] (1) ausschalten. Drücken und halten Sie Taste

[AM/FM/

] (7) und schalten Sie das Gerät mit [ON-OFF/VOLUME] (1) wieder ein.

b) Im Display (4a) erscheint

und das zuletzt aufgerufene Untermenü wird ange-

zeigt.

c) Die Auswahl des Untermenüs „KEY-BP“ erfolgt mit Tasten [▲/▼] (3) am

PTT-Handmikrofon oder [oben/unten] (4b) am [DISPLAY] (4a).

d) Betätigen Sie Taste [F] (5) zum Bestätigen der Auswahl. Der aktuell gewählte Wert

des Untermenüs blinkt.

e) Auswahl des gewünschten Wertes mit Tasten [▲/▼] (3) am PTT-Handmikrofon

oder [oben/unten] (4b) am [DISPLAY] (4a).

f) Drücken Sie Taste [PTT] (11), um die Einstellung zu bestätigen und das Benutzer-

menü zu verlassen.

g) Erfolgt innerhalb von 10s keine Einstellung, wird das Benutzermenü verlassen.

Bei aktivierter Funktion erscheint „BP“ im

[DISPLAY] (4a)

2.3 RG-BP (Roger Beep)

Ein „ROGER BEEP“ wird ausgesendet, so bald [PTT] (8) des PTT-Handmikrofons freige-

geben wird. CB-Funk ist eine „Simplex“-Kommunikation; es ist nicht möglich, gleich-

zeitig zu sprechen und zu hören, wie es z.B. bei einem Telefon der Fall ist. Wenn man

früher einen Durchgang beendete, sagte man „Roger“, um seinem Gesprächspart-

ner zu signalisieren, dass er jetzt sprechen kann. Das Wort „Roger“ wurde durch einen

Signalton ersetzt. Daher kommt der Name „Roger Beep“.

Gehen Sie wie folgt vor, um die Funktion ROGER BEEP zu aktivieren/deaktivieren:

a) Gerät mit [ON-OFF/VOLUME] (1) ausschalten. Drücken und halten Sie Taste

b) Im [DISPLAY] (4a) erscheint

und das zuletzt aufgerufene Untermenü wird ange-

zeigt.

c) Die Auswahl des Untermenüs „RG-BP“ erfolgt mit Tasten [▲/▼] (3) am PTT-Hand-

mikrofon

oder [oben/unten] (4b) am [DISPLAY] (4a)

d) Betätigen Sie Taste [F] (5) zum Bestätigen der Auswahl. Der aktuell gewählte Wert

des Untermenüs blinkt.
