Initial Tool Set Up/Assembly
Read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION section at the beginning of this
manual including all text under subheadings therein before set up or use of this product.
TO PREVENT SERIOUS INJURY:
Operate only with proper spark arrestor installed.
Operation of this equipment may create sparks that can start fires around dry vegetation.
A spark arrestor may be required. The operator should contact local fire agencies
for laws or regulations relating to fire prevention requirements.
At high altitudes, the engine’s carburetor, governor,
and any other parts that control the fuel-air ratio will
need to be adjusted by a qualified mechanic to allow
efficient high-altitude use and to prevent damage to the
engine and any other devices used with this product.
Note: For additional information regarding the parts listed in the following pages,
refer to the Assembly Diagram near the end of this manual.
Wheel Kit Assembly
Install the included wheel kit by following
the instructions included with it.
Installing the Wheels
1. Unpack and identify all parts.
2. Slide the Axle (11a) onto one
side of the compressor frame
and secure the Nut (14a)
in place. Repeat on the
other side of the frame.
3. Slide a Washer (10a),
a Wheel (12a), and
another Washer (13a)
onto an Axle and secure
the Nut (9a) in place.
Repeat on the other Axle.
Installing the Feet
1. Secure the Foot (18a)
onto the bottom of the
Foot Support (16a) with a
Bolt (19a) and Nut (15a).
2. Working on the opposite end of the Frame from the
wheels, align the holes in
the frame with a Foot
Support (16a) and secure
in place with two
Bolts (17a) and Nuts (15a).
Repeat with the other
Foot support.
