Chapter 4
Maintenance
To keep the equipment functioning properly, perform the
minor maintenance tasks in this section at the intervals
shown on the maintenance checklist. Failure to maintain
the equipment as described in this section could void the
Precor Limited Warranty.
DANGER
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, always
disconnect the equipment from its power
source before cleaning it or performing any
maintenance tasks. If the equipment is
self-powered but also uses the optional
power adapter, disconnect the adapter.
Daily Cleaning
Precor recommends that you clean the equipment before
and after each exercise session. To remove dust and dirt
from the equipment, wipe all exposed surfaces with a soft
cloth that you have moistened with a mild cleaning
solution. To create the cleaning solution, mix 30 parts of
water with 1 part of Simple GreenĀ® or a similar
concentrated detergent.
CAUTION: Do not use concentrated cleaners at full strength,
or acidic cleaners of any kind. Such cleaners weaken the
protective finish on the equipment and void the Precor Limited
Warranty. Never pour water or spray liquids onto any part of
the equipment. Allow the equipment to dry completely before
using.
