A next-generation 18-inch, light weight subwoofer that provides incredible
levels of power handling, high SPL output and exceptional low frequency
extension; perfect for delivering powerful and accurate bass in compact reex
and horn-loaded enclosure designs.
The PD.1845-1N’s vented cast-aluminium chassis and forced-air cooled,
long-throw motor system houses a strong neodymium magnet and a new
37mm long, 4.5-inch diameter, four-layer, Copper-clad aluminium voice coil
design on an angular split, ventilated, glass bre bobbin. Effective thermal
management in the motor system and voice coil gap decreases the energy
lost to heat which allows for extreme power handling, low power compression
and incredible overall audio performance.
