Using a xed blade, prep tool in
good condition, prepare cable
to 1/4” x 1/4” dimensions. Use
edge of tool if no stop
Using your VT-200 compression tool,
make sure the rotating compression
head is positioned for 6/59 as shown
in the picture. Porperly seat
connector and compress fully.
Ensure cable is prepared to 1/4”
x 1/4” dimensions. Use guage
on VT tool to recheck center
conductor.
Fold back braid. If Trishield or
Quadshield remove additional
foil layer and fold back
remaining braid.
Tighten connector to
recommended torque.
Guide center conductor and
dielectric into post. Insert cable
into connector until dielectric is
ush within post.
Cut cable squarely.
Dielectric is ush within the
post.
