8. Troubleshooting
Problem or
error message
Solution
No power
Verify power cord is securely plugged in.
Extrusion head or
platform fails to reach
operating temperature
1. Verify printer is initialized. if not, initialize the
printer
2. Heating block is damaged, replace it
Extrusion head is not
extruding
Filament is stuck in the extrusion head. See 3.3.3
Maintain (Extrude)
The gap between bearing and filament feed rollers
is too wide.
Cannot communicate
with printer
1. Make sure printer is connected to a computer
via a USB cable.
2. Unplug the USB cable, then plug it in again.
3. Reset the printer, and power it off then power it
on.
4. Restart the computer

Solution for "Winusb.dll not found" problem
If you encounter an error message “Winusb.dll not found”, it is because that
the driver is properly installed. Please follow the steps below:
Option 1: Uninstall Older Driver and Install New Driver
1. Open Control Panel in Windows, go to the “System Properties” dialog box,
and select the “Hardware” page.
