CAUTION: The operator should not reset any other parameters.
To set these parameters please follow the programming guide for each parameter. The programming
guide shows the menus and key entries required to modify each parameter. The programming guides
for each parameter and an example are included at the end of this section.
Please note that it is recommended that any field-modified parameters be recorded on the “BDA
CONTROLLER SETTINGS - As-Built” sheet provided with the BDA. This As-built document should be
available for reference should the controller require replacement.

BDA Parameter Descriptions
1A Uplink Gain
Set the overall Uplink gain of the BDA.

1B Downlink Gain
Set the overall Downlink gain of the BDA.
Refer to FIELD SETTINGS – MAIN MENU PROGRAMMING GUIDE
1C Uplink AGC
Set AGC based on number of channel for Uplink. The AGC setting is
from 0 to 255.
Refer to Table 2.1 for desired AGC level and FIELD SETTINGS – MAIN
MENU PROGRAMMING GUIDE to set AGC parameter value
1D Downlink AGC
Set AGC based on number of channel for Downlink. The AGC setting is
from 0 to 255.

1E Backup Power
This parameter can be set to either SUPPLY or BATTERY.

1F Beep
Audio indicator – not available on this model
2B Password
New password can be set through the Controller main menu. If BDA
password is lost, contact network manager.

8A Temp Shutdown
If set to “Yes”, BDA will shutdown once the BDA reaches the
Temperature limit setting (not recommended in the Public safety
applications).

8B Temp Limit
Alarm warning will issued once the BDA reach this Maximum operating
temperature setting.

8C Recovery Temp
After shutting itself down, BDA will turn back on when it reaches this
recovery temperature setting.
