12. Remove the bolts holding the
two case halves together and sepa-
rate the two halves.
13. Remove clutches, sidegears,
spider gears, spider gear washers,
springs, and spring plates. Mark
and retain the two cone clutches,
they will be reused.

Note: cone clutches must be rein-
stalled in their original positions.
