Starting and Stopping Methods
Methods
Description
Manual Run
Pressing the Run button will start the engine. You must press
the OFF button to shutdown the engine.
Remote
Start / Stop Input
When in AUTO mode remote starting of the engine is enabled.
Battery Recharge
(optional)
When the battery voltage drops below a certain level the engine
will start and run for a predetermined amount of time.
Exerciser
(optional)
When the scheduled exerciser interval occurs the engine will
start and run for a predetermined amount of time.
Auxiliary Sensors
When a properly configured Auxiliary sensor falls below / rises
above a certain point the engine will start as determined by the
Auxiliary Sensors -> Mode Select settings.
NOTE: Required Start / Stop signal type (Maintain or Momentary) is requested
through Power Technology’s Sales Department. For determining the Start / Stop
signal type, if unknown, please contact Power Technology’s Customer Service.
