ESPAÑOL BÁSICAMENTE Los aparatos PowerSpot son generadores eléctricos portátiles de baja potencia alimentados por combustión externa, refrigerados por agua o aire, y prácticamente libres de mantenimiento y averías.
POWERSPOT EXPLORER Especialmente diseñado para cargar e iluminar en entornos hostiles, sin piezas de repuesto ni mantenimiento, incluso sin supervisión.
Si se dispone de poco combustible, es ideal entonces utilizar las bombillas PowerSpot Agua, que son capaces de activarse a un voltaje muy bajo, permitiendo entonces economizar al máximo. Estas bombillas pueden utilizarse en cualquier instalación eléctrica convencional de 12 v. Ahora bien, el uso del Explorer no requiere más de 4 o 5 horas por noche, y desde luego no requiere su uso constante al 100% de su potencia, lo que podría iluminar cerca de 30 habitaciones.
DIRIGIDO A Viviendas o asentamientos aislados. Colegios, hospitales, barracones, puestos callejeros, etc. Este aparato está ideado para obtener energía eléctrica -e incluso agua destilada- en entornos especialmente inhóspitos a partir de materiales tan comunes como el agua no potable y cualquier combustible (desde gas hasta estiércol o madera) donde la rotura de una pieza, por nimia que sea, supone prácticamente la imposibilidad de reponerla.
Al iluminar con gran potencia (El equivalente a 300 w de luz incandescente) y tener tan escasos requerimientos, es el artilugio ideal para puestos callejeros independientes, de los que tantos millones se encuentran en todos los rincones del mundo.
INSTRUCCIONES DE USO Antes de proceder al uso del Explorer es necesario instalar la válvula de rellenado (si es que ha de usarse) y atornillar el mango. Para instalar este último el usuario se debe cerciorar de que en el lado interior del recipiente queden insertas en el tornillo las arandelas de Nylon (proveídas), que la cabeza del tornillo quede en el exterior, y que esté firmemente apretado con la tuerca suministrada.
Esperar alrededor de treinta segundos. Al cabo de este tiempo, las bombillas PowerSpot agua comenzarán a lucir. Y a los dos minutos mostrarán ya el 100% de su potencia. Para móviles y pilas recargables, este tiempo será suficiente para que el Explorer haya alcanzado el voltaje necesario. En caso de querer iluminar muchas bombillas, su máximo rendimiento se obtiene al cabo de diez minutos, y se mantendrá así mientras haya calor bajo el aparato y agua en su interior. APLICACIONES 10 A. Móviles, tablets y pilas recargables: Se ha de enchufar el pequeño convertidor USB a la toma de 12 V hembra del aparato. El Explorer es capaz de cargar varios de éstos simultáneamente, para lo que hace falta un conector “ladrón”ó USB HUB. Estos aparatos indican cuándo están siendo cargados y la carga soportada. El tiempo de carga es idéntico al que se obtiene de una toma eléctrica doméstica. C.
MANTENIMIENTO E. Destilación: El sistema Powerspot consiste en una tapa que se coloca sobre la boca del aparato y que, merced a un sencillo sistema, puede disponerse o no para destilar. Si se pone en la posición de destilación su cierre provoca que el vapor fluya a través de un serpentín plástico, goteando el agua ya libre de elementos minerales tóxicos en un recipiente ad-hoc.

ENGLISH BASICALLY PowerSpot devices are portable low power electric generators fed by external combustion, cooled by water or air, and practically maintenance and failure free.
POWERSPOT EXPLORER Specially designed to charge and light up in hostile surroundings, without the need of replacement parts or maintenance, even without the need of supervision.
Medium consumption is about 100grs of gas, kerosene or alcohol per hour. Therefore, a litre of kerosene will feed the Explorer during ten hours at full power or 15 hours of normal use. If it is connected to a ten litre water recipient (a bucket of water), you will only have to fill this a couple of times a day, although it is convenient to check it at least every two hours, given that the possible impurities could obstruct the flow of water.

Also, it is very useful for aid units at punctual moments, either to provide power to points remote form the base or to light up a camping or barracks (up to twenty different rooms) without the need to start up an expensive, noisy, polluting and often delicate and susceptible power generator.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE Before proceeding to the use of Explorer it is necessary to install a filling valve (if it must be used) and screw the handle. To install the later the user must check that in the inside of the recipient the provided Nylon washers have been inserted in the screw, and the head of the screw stays outside, and that it is firmly fixed with the supplied nut.
Wait around thirty seconds. After this time, the PowerSpot Water bulbs will start to light up. And two minutes later the device will show its 100% power. For mobiles and rechargeable batteries, this time will be enough for the Explorer to reach the necessary voltage. In case of lighting up several light bulbs its maximum performance will be obtained after ten minutes, and it will maintain it if the same heat is provided on its base and there is water inside the device. Connect to the desired device.
APPLICATIONS A. Mobile phones, tablets and rechargeable batteries. A small USB converter must be connected to the device 12v outlet. The Explorer will be able to charge some of these simultaneously, for which it will be necessary a USB HUB or multiple socket. These devices indicate when they are being charged and their charging capacity. The charging time is identical to the one obtained from a usual domestic power supply. B. Lighting.
MAINTENANCE The water, when evaporating, can leave mineral salt residues, basically of lime. If you wish to recover the Explorer original look, it is convenient to clean the interior with a cloth dampened in vinegar, or add a few drops of vinegar when the water is boiling. You must check the state of the plastic tube, given that constant use in proximity with heat could deteriorate it. PRECAUTIONS A. NEVER leave the device to dry out when it is over a flame. SUGGESTIONS If the Explorer is placed over any hob (city gas, butane gas, portable, etc.), it will start lighting up bulbs in only thirty seconds. Thus, using the double connector, in little time you can have light over the kitchen, light in the same room and power to charge mobile phones. The use of Explorer on any cooker in a house turns it into a power generator, giving it greater versatility.
