English Operation Warning: To avoid personal injury: • Handle the blade with care. • Do not place your fingers or hand between the notches in the blade or in any position where they could get pinched or cut. • Never service the blade or hedge trimmer unless the battery pack is removed. • Do not use if the blade assembly is damaged or bent. Take to a qualified person to straighten, replace, or sharpen. • Always keep both hands on the hedge trimmer handles to prevent your hand from touching the blade.
English Operation USING THE HEDGE TRIMMER Warning: Clear the area to be cut before each use. Remove all objects such as cords, lights, wire, or loose string which can become entangled in the cutting blade and create a risk of serious personal injury. • Before starting the hedge trimmer, maintain proper footing and balance and do not overreach. Wear safety goggles, non-skid footwear and rubber gloves. • Hold the unit with both hands with the cutting blades directed away from you.
English MAINTENANCE TRANSPORTING AND STORING • Always place the blade cover on the blade before storing or transporting the hedge trimmer. Use caution to avoid the sharp teeth of the blade. • Clean the hedge trimmer thoroughly before storing. • Store the hedge trimmer indoors, in a dry place that is inaccessible to children. • Keep away from corrosive agents such as garden chemicals and deicing salts. Warning: Blades are sharp.

Confiez la lame à un réparateur qualifié pour la faire redresser, remplacer ou aiguiser.
Français FONCTIONNEMENT • Un voyant rouge clignotant (4) indique que la température de la batterie est trop élevée pour être chargée. Attendez que la batterie refroidisse pour commencer le chargement. • Un voyant rouge fixe indique que la batterie est endommagée et qu’elle ne sera jamais chargée. • La batterie peut chauffer au cours du chargement, ce qui est normal.
Français ENTRETIEN 2. Enlevez la batterie du taille-haie. 3. Placez l’ensemble de la lame dans un étau et limez la surface de coupe exposée de chaque dent de la lame. Enlevez le moins de matériau possible. Veillez à conserver l’angle d’origine de chaque dent lors de l’aiguisage. 4. Enlevez le taille-haie de l’étau; faites-le démarrer et arrêter pour exposer les bords non-aiguisés des dents de la lame. 5. Enlevez la batterie et répétez la procédure d’aiguisage ci-dessus.
