additives (chromate, wood preservatives). Materials containing asbestos may only be
processed by experts.
 Always use a dust extraction facility.
 Make sure the workplace is well ventilated.
 Always wear a dust protection mask.
 Observe the regulations valid in your country for the materials to be processed.
8 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Do not sand plaster surfaces, (WARNING: In this case your guarantee
becomes void) this may clog the motor (brushes, ball bearings, ..).
8.1 Switching On-off

8.2 Attaching the sandpaper
 Select sandpaper with the correct grain size. Make sure the perforations in the paper
coincide with those on the sanding base plate.
 Then attach the sand paper to the sanding plate, using the hook-and-loop system of the
sand paper and the sanding plate.
 The sandpaper should rest flush on the base plate and must not come loose.
 You can be sure to find the right sandpaper among our product range (see technical
specifications).
8.3 Attaching the dust bag
This machine is supplied with a dust bag. In the interests of your health, always use the dust
bag for dust extraction when running the machine.
For even a better dust extraction of the working surface, your sanding
machine can be connected to the ordinary vacuum cleaner for house-use
with a dust extraction connector.
