The Heating Plate is
not hot.
Power Indicator Light
on appliance does not

The appliance is not
plugged in or the Control
Knob on the appliance is
not turned ON.
Plug the appliance into the
electric mains and switch it on.
Turn the Control Knob on the
appliance to ‘Low’, ‘Medium’
or ‘High’
Household power circuit
has blown.
Check the household circuit
breaker for any tripped wires.
Call for a qualified electrician.
Fuse on appliance is
blown.
Send the appliance to the
service centre for checks.
The appliance fails to
convert water into
steam.
Power Indicator Light
on appliance
illuminates.
Mineral build-up in the
appliance.
Follow the steps listed in the
‘Descaling’ instructions
contained in the Instruction
Manual.
There is no water in the
Inner Pot.
Refill the Inner Pot with water.

material.
