Troubleshooting

Excessive vibrations/noise

1. Loose parts

2. Tighten blade nut

Blade rotates when engine is at

idle speed

1. Engine idle speed too fast

2. Clutch not functioning properly

1. Adjust engine speed to specifications

Blade will not cut properly Damaged or worn blade Replace bladet

Frequent engine stalling Excessive edging speed/depth 1. Edge at a moderate pace

2. Make multiple passes increasing the depth

slightly each pass

Drive shaft separates from

attachment

Drive shaft can become separated

Reassemble drive shaft to unit. Assure

splines line up when installing
