CAUTION: Engine damage
The generator has been shipped WITHOUT oil. Any attempt to start generator without oil may
result in engine damage and failure.
Engine oil is a key factor in deciding the engine’s performance. DO NOT use engine oil with
additives or 2-stroke gasoline oil, as they do not lubricate properly, which may shorten the
engine’s service life.
Check the engine oil level with the generator stopped on a level ground.
Due to viscosity variances with regions and temperatures select the correct type of oil using
the chart below.
Engine oil recommended: SAE10W-30
