4. Remove the four large thumb screws from the rear of the computer

cover.

If the thumb screws are in too tight to remove by hand, use a small coin or

a ﬂat-bladed screwdriver to loosen the screws.

Put the thumb screws somewhere safe where you’ll be able to ﬁnd them

when you’re ready to replace the cover.

5. Gently, but ﬁrmly, pull apart the bottom corners of the cover, pull

the cover toward you slightly, lift it off and set it aside.
