Air Filter Inspection

1. After you clean the air lter elements, inspect

the lter element for holes and damage. If a lter

element is damaged, replace with a new lter

element.

Air Filter Installation

1. Wipe out the air cleaner housing with a damp

cloth. Be sure all dirt is removed.

2. Insert the cleaned inner air lter element, secure

and tighten in place with the wing nut.

3. Insert the cleaned outer air lter element, secure

and tighten in place with the wing nut. Note:

Insert the lter end with the ns rst, be careful

not to damage the ns.

4. Place the air lter cap back on to the air lter

housing, secure and tighten retainer clamp with

the wing bolt.

5. Check the condition of intake hoses and clamps.

6. Close engine cover.
