I. PRIOR TO THE FIRST USE
Carefully take the appliance and its detachable parts out of the
package.
Remove all wrapping materials and stickers except for the se-
rial number identication sticker!
After the appliance transportation or storage at low temperature
keep it at room temperature for at least two hours before plug-
ging in.
Wipe the base of the appliance with a damp cloth, then let it dry.
You may notice foreign smell when using the appliance for the
rst time. This does not mean its malfunction.
You are advised to boil water in the kettle a few times before
the rst use to get foreign smell out and disinfect the appliance.

Before use
Place the kettle and base on a hard, even, dry at surface away
from other objects or surfaces which may be damaged by steam.
NOTE: the appliance is to be used only for heating and boiling
water.
After connecting the kettle to the mains power supply the indica-
tors on the base will light up for 1 second. A short signal is emit-
ted and the appliance switches to standby mode (no indicator
light).
Water-temperature maintenance mode
This mode switches on automatically after heating and allows a
set water temperature to be maintained (100, 130, 160, 185 or
200°F) (40, 55, 70, 85 or 95°С) for 12 hours. If the water falls
below the set temperature, the heating element switches on
automatically. The water is not reboiled. At the end of the process,
the appliance emits 5 short signals and switches to standby.
